ABDUL REHMAN VANOO has been appointed as General Secretary of Famous Dada Saheb Phalke Film Foundation. Dada Saheb Phalke Film foundation which is working hard with great personalities for arrange, organize, conduct seminar and other social activity to promote and support Indian film culture. His intention is to make Dada Saheb Phalke Film Foundation Awards a remarkable Best Indian Awards. For which he has joined the foundation with great vision for betterment of Foundation. We as a team, Dream to make Dadasaheb Phalke Award,most prestigious and important for Indian Cinema in coming years. Dr. Abdul Rehman Vanoo carries the fundamental of the scouts till today and encourages the new generation from his own example. He is the Chairman of  Hind Foundation (NGO) which is influenced with fundentamental definition Padega Bharat Badega Bharat. He Is the Founder Member of 10PL – Cricket UAE Sharjah, Founder Owner of Hanaan Cricket Club QatarChampionship, Vanoo Championship – A cricket  tournament played every year in Dapoli- Maharashtra.

Dr. Vanoo has been actively working for betterment of education, environment and healthcare as the founder of Hind Foundation, Dr. Vanoo hails from Konkan. His father Abdul Gafoor Vanoo was a renowned freedom fighter. Dr. Vanoo has been following his father’s ideology of love, compassion and empathy towards the humankind irrespective of their caste, creed or religion.

Hannan Cricket Club, an initiative by Hind Foundation and chaired by Dr. Vanoo gives underserved class of Indians residing in Qatar an opportunity to showcase their talent. Mostly the players are drivers, cooks and daily wage laborers.

To commemorate his invaluable services to the film industry, Dada Saheb Phalke Film Foundation take great pride in presenting the Dada Saheb Phalke Film Foundation Awards Every Year. along with honouring artists, our main aim is to honour and felicitate technician form each of the crafts of film making, on the basis of his/her contribution to the film industry. Awardees are Honoured with a Trophy and  sum of Rs 11000/-which  is given to technician followed by a pension per month till the last breath of his/her life. This objective will be continued and every year new artists and technicians will be honoured.
