    Mumbai – In the heart of the cinematic city, where artistry and culture pulse with vibrancy, the prestigious Maharashtra State Film Awards will grace the grand stage at the Dome SVP Stadium in Worli on the evening of August 21. This event transcends mere celebration, standing as a beacon of the Marathi film industry’s vibrant tapestry, where tradition meets innovation under the gilded glow of accolades.
    This year, the ceremony is set to be an extraordinary confluence of Maharashtra’s most celebrated cultural figures, at the hands of Hon. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, in the esteemed presence of Hon. Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, Hon. Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar, and an array of dignitaries including Hon. Cultural Affairs Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, Hon. Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar, and Hon. Minister of Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Mangal Prabhat Lodha, each contributing to the evening’s resplendent aura.
    In a spectacular first, the State Government will bestow both the 58th and 59th Maharashtra State Film Awards simultaneously. The evening will shimmer with the radiance of two titans of Indian cinema: veteran actor Shivaji Satam, who will receive the Chitrapati V. Shantaram Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his indelible contribution to the silver screen. Alongside him, the luminous Asha Parekh, a name synonymous with grace and enduring talent, will be honored with the Late Raj Kapoor Lifetime Achievement Award. These accolades, accompanied by significant cash prizes, citations, and exquisitely crafted trophies, are not just awards, but emblems of a life lived in relentless pursuit of artistic excellence.
    The evening will also pay homage to the architects of storytelling—writer-director-actor Digpal Lanjekar will be lauded with the Chitrapati V. Shantaram Special Contribution Award, while the Late Raj Kapoor Special Contribution Award will be presented to the multifaceted N. Chandra, whose vision has left an indelible mark on Indian cinema.

    Adding to the symphony of recognition, the ethereal voice of Anuradha Paudwal will be celebrated with the Lata Mangeshkar Award for 2024, a fitting tribute to a singer whose melodies have woven themselves into the cultural fabric of the nation. Actress Rohini Hattangadi will also be honored, along with Singer Sudesh Bhosle, for their contributions to cinema and music, their influence echoing through the hall, a testament to their enduring impact.

    मुंबई- मराठी चित्रपटसृष्टीसाठी अत्यंत महत्त्वाचा  आणि मानाचा समजला जाणारा राज्य शासनाचा मराठी चित्रपट पुरस्कार सोहळा यंदा वरळीच्या डोम एसव्हीपी स्टेडियममध्ये २१ ऑगस्ट रोजी आयोजित करण्यात आलेला आहे.

    राज्याचे मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे यांच्या शुभहस्ते तसेच उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार, विधानसभा अध्यक्ष राहुल नार्वेकर, सांस्कृतिक कार्य मंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार, शालेय शिक्षण मंत्री दीपक केसरकर, कौशल्य रोजगार मंत्री मंगलप्रभात लोढा, विधानपरिषदेच्या उपसभापती नीलम गोऱ्हे आणि सिद्धिविनायक ट्रस्टचे सदा सरवणकर यांच्या प्रमुख उपस्थितीत पुरस्कार प्रदान केले जाणार आहेत.
    शासनामार्फत ५८ आणि ५९ वा राज्य मराठी चित्रपट पुरस्कार यंदा एकाच वेळी प्रदान केले जाणार आहेत. त्याचबरोबर २०२३ मधील चित्रपती व्ही. शांताराम जीवनगौरव पुरस्कार (१० लाख रुपये, मानपत्र आणि मानचिन्ह) जेष्ठ अभिनेते शिवाजी साटम यांना तर  स्व. राज कपूर जीवनगौरव पुरस्कार ( १० लाख रुपये, मानपत्र आणि मानचिन्ह) जेष्ठ अभिनेत्री आशा पारेख यांना या पुरस्कार सोहोळ्यात प्रदान करण्यात येणार आहे.  
    यासोबतच, २०२३ चा चित्रपती व्ही. शांताराम विशेष योगदान पुरस्कार (६ लाख रुपये, मानपत्र आणि मानचिन्ह)  लेखक-दिग्दर्शक, अभिनेते दिग्पाल लांजेकर यांना तर  स्व.राज कपूर विशेष योगदान पुरस्कार (६ लाख रुपये, मानपत्र आणि मानचिन्ह)  जेष्ठ लेखक- दिग्दर्शक-संकलक एन.चंद्रा यांना प्रदान करण्यात येणार आहे.
    यासोबतच गानसम्राज्ञी लता मंगेशकर पुरस्कार २०२४ प्रख्यात गायिका अनुराधा पौडवाल यांना प्रदान करण्यात येणार असून प्रख्यात अभिनेत्री रोहिणी हट्टगंडी यांना चित्रपटांसाठी राज्य सांस्कृतिक पुरस्कार २०२४ आणि कंठसंगीतासाठी प्रख्यात गायक सुदेश भोसले यांना सन्मानित करण्यात येणार आहे.
    या पुरस्कार प्रदान सोहोळ्याला राज्यसभा सदस्य मिलिंद देवरा, इम्रान प्रतापगढी, खासदार अरविंद सावंत, खासदार अनिल देसाई, विधान परिषद सदस्य सचिन अहिर, विधानपरिषद सदस्य भाई जगताप, विधान परिषद सदस्य सुनिल शिंदे, विधानपरिषद सदस्य श्रीकांत भारतीय, आमदार कालिदास कोळंबकर, अमिन पटेल, आमदार अजय चौधरी, आमदार आर. तमिल सेल्वन, आमदार आदित्य ठाकरे , आमदार यामिनी जाधव उपस्थित रहाणार आहेत.

    Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa Presented With Patronship Of Indo Malaysia Cultural Forum

    NOIDA:  In a significant development, H.E. Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, has been appointed as the Patron of the Indo Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum. This prestigious position was conferred upon him in a ceremony held at Marwah Studios, reflecting a new chapter in the cultural and diplomatic relations between India and Malaysia.

    Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, expressed his enthusiasm about the appointment. “The Indo Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum will gain new energy and guidance under the leadership of H.E.     फिल्म की कहानी एक गरीबों के मसीहा की है, जो एक शहर के लोगों को जुल्मी दरिंदे के खौफ से आज़ाद करता है। इस फिल्म के माध्यम से हम एक सोशल संदेश भी दे रहे हैं। जिससे समाज में जागरूकता फैलेगी। फिल्म में आपको एक्शन और रोमांस का तगड़ा डोस मिलने वाला है।

    निर्देशक बाबू साहब बलामी ने कहा कि आज फिल्म का टीजर रिलीज कर दिया गया है। जिसमें हमने फिल्म के सभी कलाकारों को प्राथमिकता देने की कोशिश की है। वही टीजर देखकर आपको इतना न तो समझ आ ही गया होगा कि ये फिल्म एक अलग कहानी पर बेस्ड है जो दर्शकों को एक पल के लिए भी पल झपकने नहीं देंगी। हमें उम्मीद है ये फिल्म दर्शकों के मन मे एक अमिट छाप छोड़ने में कामयाब होगी।

    फिल्म के पीआरओ ब्रजेश मेहर ने कहा कि ये फिल्म दो भाषाओं में बनी है। फ़िल्म आपको उच्च कोटि की कहानी देखने को मिलेगी जो आपने पहले कभी देखी नहीं होगी। फ़िल्म के टीजर ने ये साबित कर दिया है कि आज भी कई निर्देशक कहानी के साथ समझौता नहीं करते हैं।

    फिल्म को हमने हिंदी और नेपाली भाषा में शूट किया है। जिसमें हम कई दिक्कतों का सामना भी करना पड़ा है लेकिन जो आउटपुट निकल कर सामने आया है उसे देखकर हर टेक्नीशियन के चेहरे पर मुस्कान आ गई। फिल्म में आपको अवल दर्जे का इमोशन, एक्शन और ड्रामा देखने को मिलने वाला है।

    निर्माता मीना खड़का और हीरा बहादुर लेपचा ने कहा कि जब हमसे इस फिल्म को बनाने के लिए बात की गई तो हमने पहले इसकी कहानी को सुना। कहानी सुनते सुनते हमारी आंखों में अंशु आ गया। क्योंकि में जो इमोशन है वो हर किसी रुला देगा। वही फिल्म में कुंदन, सुनील और देव की जबरदस्त एक्शन देखने को मिलेगा।

    Filmmaker And Writer Neeraj Singh Is Set To Release A Short Film THE FEMALE KHATNA That Sheds Light On The Harrowing Reality

    In a chilling exposé of a deeply entrenched practice within certain Muslim communities, filmmaker and writer Neeraj Singh is set to release a short film ” The Female Khatna” that sheds light on the harrowing reality of female circumcision, also known as Khatna. This controversial practice, which involves the cutting of the private parts of young girls aged 9-10, is a stark reminder of the physical and mental anguish endured by countless women even today.

    While many are aware of the male circumcision tradition within Muslim society, few realize that a similar ritual is inflicted upon young girls in certain communities. This practice is not only a violation of the body but also leaves deep psychological scars that persist throughout a woman’s life. Despite legal prohibitions and social condemnation, the practice continues in secrecy, upheld by religious leaders and community pressure.

    Neeraj Singh, known for his bold storytelling and willingness to tackle sensitive issues, has spent extensive time researching the topic. He uncovered that the practice of female circumcision is particularly prevalent among the Dawoodi Bohra Muslim community. In this community, the ritual, referred to as Khafz, involves the removal of the clitoral hood and, in some cases, the entire external genitalia. The procedure is often carried out without anesthesia, leading to severe pain, trauma, and lifelong complications.

    During his research, Neeraj spoke to numerous women who had undergone Khatna. These women, now in their 30s and 40s, shared their painful experiences with him, recounting the lasting impact on their physical and mental health. Many described how they continue to suffer during sexual intercourse, enduring the pain inflicted upon them in childhood. The stigma associated with not being circumcised further exacerbates their suffering, as uncircumcised women are often shunned within their communities and face difficulties in finding marriage partners.

    Neeraj revealed that these women confided in him under the condition of anonymity, fearing retribution from their communities. They spoke of the immense social pressure to conform to this practice, with circumcised women being regarded as pure and virtuous, while those who escape the ritual are ostracized and deemed unworthy.

    While the practice of female circumcision is not widespread across India, it continues to thrive in pockets of certain Muslim communities, particularly among the Dawoodi Bohra. Despite growing awareness and efforts to curb the practice, it remains deeply rooted in tradition and religious belief, perpetuated by those who claim it is a necessary rite of passage.

    Neeraj Singh’s short film aims to bring this hidden reality to the forefront, challenging societal norms and sparking conversations about the rights and dignity of women. The film, which is being produced for the International Film Festival circuit, will also be released on several major OTT platforms, ensuring it reaches a global audience.

    In speaking about the project, Neeraj emphasized the importance of exposing the truth and giving a voice to the voiceless. “This is not just a film; it’s a statement against a barbaric practice that has no place in modern society. These women have suffered in silence for too long, and it’s time the world hears their stories,” he said.

    By bringing this issue to the screen, Neeraj hopes to inspire change and encourage communities to abandon harmful traditions that violate human rights. His film is not just a condemnation of female circumcision, but also a call to action for society to protect the most vulnerable members—young girls who deserve to grow up free from fear and pain.

    As the film prepares for its international debut, it is poised to make a significant impact on audiences and ignite a much-needed dialogue on the subject. Neeraj Singh’s courage in tackling such a sensitive and controversial issue is commendable, and his work is a powerful reminder of the role of art in challenging societal injustices and advocating for change.

    The first day of the pageant came to a vibrant close with a joyful cake-cutting ceremony and a lively DJ party. In a nod to unity and festivity, everyone embraced the evening’s theme by donning striking red attire, adding an extra touch of excitement to the celebration.

    The morning of the second day unfolded with an exhilarating start as the semi-finals took the spotlight. This vibrant session featured the much-anticipated introduction round, question and answer round as well as the  talent round, where contestants dazzled with their diverse and remarkable abilities. The semi-finals also included the elegant subtitle crowning ceremony, celebrating individual achievements and special titles.

    As evening approached, the grandeur of the pageant continued with the highly anticipated finale. The event showcased a stunning National Costume round, where contestants paraded in elaborate and culturally rich ensembles that highlighted their creativity and heritage. This was followed by the Evening Wear walk, a display of sophistication and style as the contestants glided down the runway in glamorous evening attire. The night culminated in a prestigious awards ceremony, where the pageant’s winner and other distinguished awardees were honored for their outstanding excellence and achievements.

    Kunwarpur – This Film Is The Beginning Of Regional Cinema Of Madhya Pradesh Indore

    Comedy film ‘Kunwarpur’ has been made under the banner of Avinash Films and Maxon Battery to bring the talent of local artists.

     This is the first theatrical release film of the film’s director Rajendra Rathore, which is coming to the cinema on 9 August. The main actors of the film are Asrani, Vikram Kochhar, Avinash Tiwari, Annapurna Dwivedi, Garima Agarwal, Urmila Sharma along with local artists have also performed brilliantly.

    The producer of the film is Laxman Barfa, Director Rajendra Rathore, a resident of Sailana in Ratlam, is working in Mumbai. He has so far made 50 ad films and 10 music videos along with short films and web series. Many actors like Sonu Sood, Hema Malini, Urvashi Rautela, Bhagyashree, Gauhar Khan have worked under his direction.

    Director Rajendra Rathore said that – Till now there is no regional cinema of Madhya Pradesh and Malwa and Nimar have been presented through this film.

    The film’s actress Annapurna Dwivedi said that – The film has been shot in Umaria and Khamaria villages near Satna in Madhya Pradesh. Regional dialect will also be heard in its language. The film’s actor Avinash Tiwari is a superstar of Baghelkhand, it is a family and comedy film in which a message has been given against the dowry system.

    The film’s actor Avinash Tiwari told that the story of Kunwarpur is of a village where no one has been married for the last 10 years because the village is cursed. Our hero Pappu’s marriage is fixed by mistake and the whole village has to go to the wedding procession. This has been woven into the story through humor. On the other hand, the heroine of the film is Manglik. She is married to Pappu by mistake. Both sides hide their reality from each other. This is the plot of the film.

    Dr. Piyali Roy, an India Born Dental Surgeon practicing in USA, a New York University DDS, is also a Cornell University and IIFT-Delhi campus fashion designing alumni, will be showcasing her design in Milan Fashion Week & Paris Fashion Week in Sept 2024, infront of international fashion audience and media.

    Sanjeev kumar Runway organizer said that about 14 designers have showcased their brand in the 1st season and about 45 female models and 20 male models have walked on the ramp wearing the designer clothes of different brands respectively.

    The entire nation eagerly awaited the announcement of the Union Budget 2024, a pivotal document charting the course for India’s burgeoning economy under the Modi 3.0 regime. Contrary to expectations of a budget solely focused on growth and development, this comprehensive budget addressed both growth and welfare. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman outlined four focal areas: ‘Garib’ (Poor), ‘Mahilayen’ (Women), ‘Yuva’ (Youth), and ‘Annadata’ (Farmer).

    To ensure the all-around development and upliftment of these pillars of the Indian economy, the government delineated nine budget priorities, serving as a roadmap towards a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India). This budget not only reinforced the government’s commitment to holistic development across all sectors but also underscored its dedication to a sustainable future.

    The announcement of the Union Budget 2024 sent ripples across financial markets and sparked a wave of enthusiasm. Numerous industry leaders across various sectors praised the strategic vision and anticipated impact of these announcements.

    Here’s what the industry leaders had to say:

    Providing an overview of the possible developments in the financial markets, Mr. Tarun Singh, Managing Director of Highbrow Securities said, “The Union Budget has impacted the buoyant stock market, but its effect feels more symbolic than substantial. The fundamental impact on investors will be negligible, as any changes in capital gains taxation will soon be factored into future plans. The market sentiment will remain conducive for investors. However, the budget’s opportunistic flavour cannot be ignored. On a brighter note, the budget’s incremental yet pivotal steps towards fostering an inclusive manufacturing and MSME landscape are commendable. The proposed initiative lays a sustainable and secure foundation for investors to explore emerging opportunities within this vital economic segment.

    One of the key standout aspects of this budget is its respect for the existing consumption patterns. In the market realm, consumption is king, and any disturbance to this trend could ripple negatively across the economic spectrum. By preserving the status quo here, the budget has safeguarded the ongoing consumption story that fuels market growth. The Stock Markets, thus, can absorb minor setbacks and continue on a bullish path, backed by stable and robust consumer demand.

    In my opinion, this budget is neither extravagant nor groundbreaking, but sometimes, not rocking the boat is an act of wisdom. This Union Budget may not sparkle with dramatic flair, but its understated elegance might very well be the unsung hero of our economic narrative this year. I am anticipating a favourable year ahead, with markets expected to benefit from sustained consumption and emerging opportunities in the revitalised MSME and Manufacturing sectors.”

    Devam Sardana, Business Head, Lemonn, addressed the impact of LTCG and STCG changes on the financial markets, but provided a different viewpoint on the same. He said, “Lot of people asking the impact of STT, STCG and LTCG on the equity market participants but instead of the impact of direct factors, I believe the removal of indexation benefits on real estate, gold etc will have a major impact on the equity markets and participants (and that too a positive one). From a real estate standpoint, I see 3 major things:

    1. Secondary market for real estate will be hit as sellers will be unwilling to absorb the full impact of the potential tax increase ( no indexation benefits)
    2. Buyers looking for investing in properties ( beyond residential use) will step back a bit. The government recognises this and has therefore “urged” states to reduce the stamp duties
    3. Potential cash transactions or share of cash in real estate might increase and this might lead to increased scrutiny of real estate transactions.
    4. Overall, this makes real estate as an asset class less attractive compared to pre-Budget rules. Of course, if one is looking to re-invest capital gains from real estate in another property, there is no change for them. With regards to the question on STT, STCG and LTCG, there is minimal impact on the equity markets but when looked at the competitors of equity as an asset class namely gold, real estate – investors can breathe a sigh of relief!”
    5. “We welcome the Budget 2024-25 as a people-friendly and pro-development budget. This year’s budget has paved the way for India by focusing on employment and skilling opportunities. We appreciate the various initiatives announced by the Honourable Finance Minister, focusing on the nine critical priorities—ranging from productivity and resilience in agriculture to next-generation reforms—demonstrating a comprehensive approach to fostering sustainable growth and development.
    6. For future leaders, these priorities offer a robust foundation to build upon and will create dynamic opportunities for innovation and leadership in these vital sectors. We believe that the budget, along with conducive policies and regulatory reforms, will facilitate research and development, and foster a culture of innovation, across sectors. As a founder and angel investor, I’m thrilled that the Angel Tax has been abolished. This will significantly bolster the entrepreneurial ecosystem in India.     9. Regarding crypto, we had hoped the government would reduce taxation to align it with other asset classes. Unfortunately, this has not been addressed, representing a missed opportunity to support startups and investors in the crypto space. We are still examining the finer details of the budget to fully understand its broader implications,” said Singhal.

    The notebook distribution ceremony of Cine Steel, TV and Motion Photographers Association was held in an enthusiastic atmosphere on 20 July 2024 at 3 pm in Andheri under the chairmanship of Hon. Shri Ashfaque Khopekar, President of Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Awards and Writer, Director.

    Free notebooks were distributed to the children of active members of the association in the ceremony. The organization’s president Mr. Ramakant Munde, general secretary Mr. Atul Rajkule, treasurer Mr. Satish Ghusale, co-secretary Ashok Kanojia, founder committee member Mr. Firoz Hashmi, committee members Mr. Shyam Salvekar, Mr. Vinayak Vetkar, Mr. Devendra Sarkar and members Kishor Raibhan, Ramhari Sonawane were present with their children.     New York, USA – It’s an international honour that Dr Sandeep Marwah, an esteemed international media personality and cultural ambassador to India from seventy-five countries will not forget in a hurry.     Actress Nayra Pal is a resident of Haata Gambhirpur, a nearby area of ​​Kanpur city in Uttar Pradesh. Nayra had a special liking for dance and acting since childhood and her passion grew with time. To bring proficiency in her acting, she joined theatre and there she got an offer for modelling. It was a difficult journey for a girl from a small village to come to Mumbai, the city of dreams, and become an actress, but Nayra never lost her confidence and believed in her talent and kept standing firm. Her family has also supported her at every step. Nayra has worked in many ad films and is going to work in projects of many brands in the future.

    लखनऊ स्थित भाग्य मंदिर परिवार आज जनकल्याण का पर्याय बन चुका है। गरीब ,असहाय,इस दुनिया मे अकेला या वैसे व्यक्ति जो अपने जिंदगी को बेहतर बनाने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं उनके लिए भाग्य मंदिर परिवार एक मात्र विकल्प बन कर उभरा है। मानव कल्याण के लिए भाग्य मंदिर परिवार अब जल्द ही दिल्ली में भी अपनी शाखा का विस्तार करने जा रही है। अब दिल्ली के लोगो को भी इसका लाभ मिलेगा।

    शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में कार्य करते हुए भाग्य मंदिर परिवार ने बुंदेलखंड क्षेत्र के लगभग 53 गांवों में मुफ्त कोचिंग सेंटर आरम्भ किये हैं। सामान्य बच्चों के साथ उन बच्चों पर अधिक ध्यान दिया जाता है जो बिल्कुल अशिक्षित है और किसी भी सरकारी या निजी स्कूलों में नही पढ़ पा रहे हैं । लखनऊ के बालागंज क्षेत्र में भी भाग्य मंदिर शिक्षा केंद्र का सुभारम्भ किया गया हैं और धीरे धीरे और भी जिलों में भाग्य मन्दिर शिक्षा केंद्रों की स्थापना की जा रही है । भाग्य मंदिर परिवार के द्वारा योग की निःशुल्क कक्षा मुहैया कराई जाती है ।

    प्राकृतिक चिकित्सा,एक्यूप्रेशर के साथ ही जरूरतमंद के लिए हर प्रकार की चिकित्सा व्यवस्था का अधिक से अधिक लाभ हेतु भाग्य मंदिर परिवार की ओर से लगातार जागरूकता शिविर चलाये जाते रहे हैं जिनसे अभी तक लगभग 11600 लोगो को लाभ प्राप्त हुआ है।

    अन्नदान कार्यक्रम के तहत आर्थिक संकट के कारण भरपेट भोजन नही कर पाने वालों के लिए भाग्य मंदिर परिवार हर सप्ताह अलग अलग अन्नदान के शिविरों में लगभग 10 हज़ार से अधिक लोगो को अन्नदान करके उनकी क्षुधा को शांत करता है।
