Noida, India — Setting a new benchmark, the 8th Global Fashion and Design Week hosted in Noida emerged as the largest event of its kind organized by an educational institution on a global scale. Over three days, the festival captivated an international audience with groundbreaking fashion and furniture designs, spearheaded by Festival President Sandeep Marwah, also the head of Marwah Studios.

The event was orchestrated by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry alongside AAFT School of Fashion and Design, AAFT School of Interior Design, and AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism, drawing creative talents from 72 nations to partake in a celebration of diverse cultural artistry.

The festival featured a dynamic schedule of 90 runway shows with 200 designers unveiling more than 550 distinct garments. It also included four specialized exhibitions showcasing coffee table books, traditional Indian Suits & Sarees, a Photography Exhibition, and an array of 100 innovative furniture designs. Culinary arts were prominently featured with 9 food exhibitions representing the gastronomy of 20 countries, meticulously prepared by 700 experts over the course of three months. 

Drawing an impressive attendance of 23,000 people, the event was a gathering place for 250 esteemed personalities from the realms of fashion and design, including 20 Ambassadors and High Commissioners, thereby enriching the international appeal. The presence of a marching band from AAFT added a regal ambiance to the proceedings, which were broadcasted by 500 media outlets globally. 

Daily updates were provided by the AAFT School of Journalism, supported by 100 volunteers from AAFT School of PR Events and Advertising, 100 digital media specialists from AAFT School of Digital Marketing, and 100 photographers from AAFT School of Still Photography. 

The event’s success was further highlighted by the applause and commendations from 72 participating countries, celebrating the festival’s ability to integrate and exhibit distinctive cultural attire alongside national flags in a grand runway presentation.

The inaugural session was notably attended by H.E. Dambajavyn Ganbold, Ambassador of Mongolia, Cdr. K.L. Ganju, Honorary Consul General of Comoros in India, renowned designer Rina Dhaka, and Ruby Yadav, Cultural Head of the BJP Wing. Once you are at peace with yourself and God, you can see miracles everywhere and I strongly believe that if your faith in God is ultimate, you can be sure that he is always walking with you, will look after you and will never let you down! Guru Nanak says, “He, the God will not let you bow in front of anyone if you have belief, faith and your karma is good”; And that is the story of my film “Nanak Naam Jahaz Hai” says Kalyaani Singh, the writer and director of the movie.

She says that when she wrote the story and chose this title, she was aware that it would be compared to the biggest blockbuster of Punjabi cinema that was produced 55 years ago and is still looked upon as one of the best record-breaking works in the industry. But as she said earlier, it was her faith in God that gave her the courage to go ahead and her Karma that told her, she was born to make this film. “I had very positive vibes all around me and I told my husband Maann Singh, renowned journalist & writer who doesn’t mince words and is extremely honest, about my idea for the film & this title. He heard the story and said just 2 words – GO AHEAD!”

Continuing the journey, Kalyaani Singh discusses the development of her project. “I was very happy & confident and then discussed the story in detail with him. This is when he told me that 55 years ago, God had chosen non-Punjabi filmmakers, the very well-known Maheshwari brothers to make this ambitious project successfully and this time he has chosen us, non-Punjabis again, to make a film with the same name and continue its spirit. The first message of Guru Nanak Dev Ji is that “The world is one, all humans are equal”, and it is only our belief in almighty that binds us together.

With the blessings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, I called our actors as who I believed can carry the film on their strong shoulders and do justice to my subject. Choosing a good star cast means half the work is already done!

Though the story of my film is entirely different from the first one, every performance of my actors will be compared with actors from the previous film and especially with the legendary Prithviraj Kapoor. My actors were excited, but will they be able to devote themselves to the script as I have dreamed of? I was shocked when I saw Mukesh Rishi, Vindu Dara Singh, Sardar Sohi, and Dolly Mattoo performing! They were deeply involved in their roles, and nothing could make me happier.

 My husband and producer of the film, Maann Singh Deep, who was always on the set sitting in some corner and watching the public who were coming to see the shooting, was pleasantly shocked & surprised with the reaction of the public.

 Maann Singh Ji told me one day at our hotel room after the shoot, “Kalyaani, do you know why are we not disturbed by the public even in crowded places? Because for them it is not just any ordinary film; it is their faith in the name of Guru Nanak Dev Ji that they listen to every dialogue with full faith and attention. They close their eyes when they listen to the shabads played on speakers as they are in a state of meditation.”  It is a big responsibility on my tiny shoulders, but I am sure that my guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji is with me, his blessings are with me, and he will guide me all the way to make this an extremely memorable film.

 “Nanak Naam Jahaz Hai” is a very holy name, which not only Punjabis, but other caste/religion people also have faith and belief in. This film was made 55 years ago starring the legendary actors Prithviraj Kapoor, I. S. Johar, Vimi and Som Dutt. It had won a national award at that time and broke all the records as far as box office collection is concerned. Till today, no Punjabi film has broken the footfall record of “Nanak Naam Jahaz Hai” yet. This movie was also the only Punjabi movie in history to be a Golden Jubilee.

 After 55 years, once again, the film is being made with a different story and renowned star cast. This modern “Nanak Naam Jahaz Hai” is an international Punjabi film which will be released in Punjabi, Hindi, along with English subtitles. Also, this film is the only Punjabi film till date in which the holy Golden Temple, Amritsar has been explored so deeply and vastly because of special permissions granted to this film by the official authorities of Golden Temple, Amritsar. This film is starring Mukesh Rishi, Vindu Dara Singh, Dolly Mattoo, Gavie Chahal, Drishti Grewal and Sardar Sohi.

On April 15, 2024, at the Hotel S K Klyde in Sahibabad, chefs from India and abroad gathered for a discussion on the upcoming recipe book and showcased their special dishes at the event. The publication of the recipe book, under the editorial guidance of Master Chef Rajesh Kumar, is being undertaken by VL Media Solutions.

The book’s launch will take place in an upcoming cooking show in August. Dr Yash Paul Chhabra, a vegan food specialist from America, kicked off the program by making vegan soup. Following that, Chef Satyendra Negi prepared Shahi kebabs, Chef Manishankar Jha impressed everyone with his lentil kebabs. Finally, Master Chef Rajesh Kumar wowed the guests with his vegetable kebabs, earning praise.

Chef Consultant Shefali Lal kept the program engaging with expert coordination. The presence of models Nidhi Bakshi, Tamanna, and Priya was commendable.

Publisher Nityanand Tiwari highlighted that the upcoming book will be a valuable addition to every kitchen, catering to home chefs, street food enthusiasts, and anyone who loves attracting people with their recipes. Mumbai.  Dr. Krishna Chouhan, known as the emperor of award functions in Mumbai, organized a grand event of the third season of ‘Miss and Mrs. India and Nari Shakti Samman 2024’ on the occasion of Women’s Day at the Mayor Hall in Andheri West, a famous suburb of the metropolis.  In this award ceremony presented by KCF, those who have done remarkable work of social service and human service were honored.  Along with this, he has given a new direction to the society by excellently displaying his art and personality.

 Many celebrities were present in this award ceremony organized by Dr. Krishna Chouhan, among whom the names of musician Dilip Sen, singer Deepa Narayan Jha (wife of Udit Narayan), BN Tiwari, former ACP Sanjay Patil, Bharti Chhabria and actor Ramesh Goyal and Keval Kumar from Media are notable.

 The jury members of KCF Miss & Mrs India were Dr Deepa Narayan Jha, Nikki Batra, Dr Dr Bharti Chhabria, Prem Gada and Asanta Naskar Yadav.  The makeup of the models was done by Lata Solanki while the fashion designer was Kusum Gupta.

 Krishna Chouhan along with Dilip Sen, ACP Sanjay Patil, Bharti Chhabria, Nikki Batra started the program by lighting the lamp.  Sanjay Patil and Mangesh sang many songs on stage.  The anchor of the program was RJ Jayshree Panwar.  Legendary music director Dilip Sen said that Krishna Chouhan’s courage cannot be praised enough.  He works differently in the world.  My congratulations and best wishes to all the awardees.  Chitra ji also sang a good song.

 ACP Sanjay Patil said that the one who respects women is great and Dr. Krishna Chouhan has been doing this great work, many congratulations to him.

Bharti Chhabria said that Krishna Chouhan has been giving Nari Shakti Samman for the last three years.  Through KCF Foundation, he also creates the platform of Miss Mrs. India so that women get a golden opportunity.

 Dilip Sen’s wife Reshma Dilip Sen received the first award, after receiving which she thanked Krishna Chouhan. Deepa Narayan Jha expressed gratitude to Krishna Chouhan and said that he respects women and encourages them.  This is his best initiative.  Deepa Narayan was honored by wearing a crown as the brand ambassador and Asanta was also honoured.

 Kiara Rawat was declared the winner in the Miss India category.  The first runner up of Miss India was Chitra Devi Jamatia, the second runner up of Miss India was Diya Mandal.

Whereas in the Mrs. India category, Komal Kataria was the winner of Silver Class, Anu Pandit was the winner of Gold Class and Megha Hemdev was the winner of Platinum Class.  Lavina Joseph was the first runner up of Mrs. India.

In all his award ceremonies, along with social workers, businessmen, people associated with the film industry, Dr. Krishna Chouhan also honors many journalists and photographers.

 Krishna Chouhan has been working as a director in the film industry for the last two decades.  Along with this, he always remains ahead in social work.  During the Covid period, he not only distributed ration to the needy but the biggest thing was that he also presented Bhagavad Gita to the people.

Renowned Bollywood producer Ajay Soni has launched a romantic music video “Silvetein” under his production house Seven Horse Studios. It is presented by Nox Music. The music video, which was launched at a grand ceremony held at Red Bulb Studios in Mumbai, features the duo Khushboo Vaiddya and Arhaan Patel.

The music director of this song is Joy Chakraborty, lyricist is Alaukik Rahi and singers are Buddhaa M. and Birina Pathak. The project head of the music video is Raj Gupta while Sayan Ray has directed it.

The conference of this video launch was quite grand where many celebrity guests including producer Ajay Soni, Shekhar Soni, co-producer Satyam Soni were also present. Everyone liked this song very much and congratulated Ajay Soni.

Producer Ajay Soni says that Nox Music has presented this video. The chemistry of Khushboo Vaiddya and Arhaan Patel looks very good in Silvetein. This song has been shot in filmy style. The location is also beautiful. It is expected that it will be well appreciated by the audience.

This song has been shot in Andaman Nicobar. Ajay Soni said that we had gone there to shoot a song with actress Khushboo but shot two songs. Khushboo is very honest towards her work. In one shot, Khushboo had to run while crossing the trees but she fell and got injured, despite that she continued her shooting. We shot this song in two days. Initially we wanted to shoot it in Maldives but the director told us about the location of Andaman Nicobar and we immediately agreed.

Actress Khushboo Vaiddya said that this is a dreamy song and is for people of every age group. We all were working on this song for a long time. I was happy to see the director’s story board. The location of Andaman Nicobar is very amazing. I had to spend the whole night at Chennai airport for this song shoot. While Sayan is the coolest and flexible director, he also gives freedom to the artists. This song is actually the result of team work.

Actor Arhaan Patel said that I was feeling very comfortable with Khushboo during its shooting. Sayan is a very cool director and Ajay Soni is a very cheerful person.

Singer Buddhaa sang two lines of this song and said that this song is very close to my heart. Joy Chakraborty has composed a beautiful tune.
