Cricket has elevated from being merely a sport to being an emotion for Indians because exemplary cricketers like Mahendra Singh Dhoni have always led it. It was an emotional moment for every Indian when M.S Dhoni, the Indian cricket team captain, announced his retirement on August 25th, 2020.
As a tribute to this living cricket legend, Prabhiraj, the Managing Director of U.A.E, based Aries Group of Companies, paid a heartfelt tribute to Dhoni through his video. He is an ardent cricket fan, an actor, members of Kerala Film Producers Association and the Captain of the Aries Cricket Team. During this special occasion, Prabhiraj quoted, “I am hugely inspired by Dhoni’s charming personality and tactics on the field. This video is his tribute to the icon of Indian Cricket that coins his intense attributes that can awaken the Indians’ pride. He also stated that he admires Dhoni, not just a cricketer but as a compassionate and hardworking individual. He is deeply inspired by him for his patriotism, result-oriented leadership, and unpredictable game style. The video consists of the careful analysis of what made Dhoni what he is today to Indian cricket. Reminiscing his love for cricket Prabhiraj also fondly remembered the day when he went to the UK along with the other directors of Aries Group to watch Dhoni play live. “It was the best day of my life, though I couldn’t meet him in person during that trip, I hope I would be able to meet him soon in person as he is in Dubai right now for the IPL”, he quoted with a smile. For his corporate Leadership qualities and business acumen, Prabhiraj has been honored with many awards and accolades and conferred with Doctorate in Business Administration by Ecole Superieure Robert De Sorbon.

Prabhiraj also supports and looks after the Kollam Pataudi A-division cricket team and plans to start a Cricket Academy in association with Ranji Player Mr. Sunil Sam is currently the assistant coach at MRF foundation. He wishes to name this academy as – Dhoni Cricket Academy, as his humble tribute to the cricketing legend.
