    Face Of Panache Runway 2025 – Season 8

    Mumbai witnessed the spectacular grand finale of Face of Panache Runway – Season 8 on 20th April, held at the luxurious Hotel Sahara Star, International, and curated by renowned designer and organizer Vishal Kapoor “VK.”

    The evening was graced by an elite lineup of celebrities and dignitaries. The crowning moment was celebrated in the presence of producer-director Nivedita Basu, actress Jaswir Kaur, and actor Mannan Joshi, along with esteemed chief guest Mr. Sunil Sethi.     17th Global Film Festival Noida Inaugurated At Marwah Studios

    Noida: A wave of excitement, an extraordinary gathering of filmmakers, film enthusiasts, students, and delegates from across India and the globe marked the grand opening of the 17th Global Film Festival Noida (GFFN) 2024 at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. This landmark event celebrated cinema as a universal language of love, peace, and unity.

    Sandeep Marwah, the visionary behind this festival, inaugurated the event with a resounding message:
    “We have reached a stage where we no longer need to tell the world how much we love cinema. The 17th edition of GFFN has elevated us to a global platform, recognized for its activities and its purpose of fostering love, peace, and unity through cinema.”

    The grand inauguration witnessed the presence of eminent personalities from the world of film and diplomacy. Firdausal Hassan, Producer and President of the Film Federation of India Elect, lauded the scale and grandeur of the festival, remarking, “These festivals infuse immense energy into the nation.” Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, acclaimed director of the film Pink, shared his admiration for the festival’s vibrancy and zest.

    Abhay Sinha, Film Producer and President of the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA), added, “The arrangements and enthusiasm of the people create a real cinematic environment, elevating Indian cinema to new heights.” Sakshi Mehra, President of the Motion Pictures Association (MPA), emphasized the festival’s international acclaim, stating, “GFFN surpasses many international festivals abroad, showcasing the prestige of Indian cinema.”

    A host of celebrities, including renowned actress Shobit Rana, actor and singer Aroon Bakshi, and popular actors Anang Desai, Rajeev Mehta, and Surendrapal Singh, shared their excitement and appreciation for the festival’s unmatched spirit.

    Representing Palestine, Dr. Abed Elrazeg Abu Jazer, Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy of Palestine, expressed his delight, saying, “This is one of the most well-organized film festivals I have ever attended.     RAJADHIRAAJ: Love. Life. Leela.: The Mega-Musical’s Captivating Songs, Composed By Sachin-Jigar, Releases On All Music Streaming Platforms

    * The music composer duo, Sachin-Jigar has composed 20 original foot-tapping scores for the mega-musical.

    The enchanting songs of ‘Rajadhiraaj: Love. Life. Leela.’, which gracefully brought Shri Krishna’s timeless leelas to life in the mega-musical, are now available on all music streaming platforms worldwide. Conceptualised by visionary Dhanraj Nathwani, the soundtracks of the theatrical have been composed by renowned composer duo Sachin-Jigar, and the lyrics have been penned by celebrated lyricist Padma Shri Awardee Prasoon Joshi.

    20 original melodic tracks, which illuminated the auditorium with their captivating lyrics and lively scores, are now available for streaming, allowing audiences to immerse themselves in the magic of the grand musical. The songs elegantly capture the unconditional love between a mother and son, the enchanting love story of Radha and Krishna, and the mischievousness of Balgopal, evoking a wide range of emotions.

    Sharing his thoughts on the release of the songs, Dhanraj Nathwani said, “Music stirs a rich blend of emotions and leaves a lasting impact on individuals. And Rajadhiraaj’s songs have resonated deeply with the audience across generations, Shri Krishna’s leelas have reached them through music. The enthusiasm we witnessed among the spectators here in Delhi and Mumbai led us to release these soul-stirring songs on the streaming platforms, ensuring they reach a wider audience. Of the 20 tracks we are releasing 11 right now. We are hopeful that everyone will love them as much as we loved creating them.”

    The composition is a blend of Western symphonic elements from Budapest and Indian classical music, highlighting multiple musical genres such as haveli sangeet, Rajasthani and Gujarati folk, Sapakra, Raas Garba, and Hindustani semi-classical music. To capture the flavours of various regions of India, the musical duo also incorporated local instrumentalists, including tabla, dholak, shehnai, and others. The songs have been sung by renowned singers like Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Ghoshal, Kailash Kher, Sachin Sanghvi, Parthiv Gohil, Keerthi Sagathia and Jonita Gandhi .

    Revealing the idea behind the creation of the lively composition, music composer Sachin-Jigar said, “It was an interesting as well as quite challenging project for us and we thrive on such experiences. We have grown up hearing the songs and stories of Shri Krishna from our grandparents and this musical was an opportunity to bring the Krishna we know to the audience. To add depth, we blended Western and Indian classical music, while also experimenting with different local instruments to create unique and dynamic melodies. Each song is different from the other, and each one is close to our hearts.”

    After a stellar run at Mumbai’s Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), ‘Rajadhiraaj: Love. Life. Leela.’ — the world’s first mega musical on Shri Krishna’s life graced Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Auditorium in the last week of November.     राजकुमार राव और तृप्ति डिमरी स्टारर फिल्म ‘विक्की विद्या का वो वाला वीडियो’ का विवाद थमने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है। इस फिल्म की कहानी का क्रेडिट अमित गुप्ता को नहीं मिला है। इसलिए इस फिल्म के सभी निर्माताओं के खिलाफ शिकायत पुलिस स्टेशन में हो गई थी। फिल्म के निर्माता भूषण कुमार, कृष्ण कुमार, एकता कपूर, शोभा कपूर, विमल लाहोटी, अश्विन वर्दे, राजेश बहल, राज शांडिल्य और विपुल डी शाह हैं।

    पुलिस स्टेशन में शिकायत के बाद अमित गुप्ता को धमकियों के फोन आने लगे, जिसमें अंतरराष्ट्रीय नंबरों से आए कॉल भी शामिल है। अमित गुप्ता का कहना है कि 5 नवंबर को करणी सेना के नेता सुरजीत सिंह राठौड़ ने एक अनजान नंबर से अमित गुप्ता को फोन किया और उनसे फिरौती मांगी और जान से मारने की धमकी दी। जबकी अमित गुप्ता का बार-बार यही कहना था, कि वो कानून के हिसाब से जा रहे हैं। जिस पर सुरजीत सिंह ने कहा कि मैं जिस जगह पर बैठा हूं, मेरा कोई कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ सकता। सुरजीत सिंह ने साफ लफ्जों में कहा कि अमित गुप्ता तुझे अगर अपनी जान बचानी है तो मुझे पैसे दे। वर्ना मैं तुझे जान से मार दूंगा। करणी सेना के नेता की इस तरह से बढ़ती गुंडागर्दी से साफ जाहिर होता है कि वो दशहत फैला रहे हैं। अमित गुप्ता को खुलेआम धमकी देने वाला ये सुरजीत सिंह राठौड़ है कौन और आखिर उसके पीछे है कौन? राजस्थान से आए ये लोग गुंडागर्दी करके बॉलीवुड में क्या यूं ही दशहत फैलाते रहेंगे। सुरजीत सिंह राठौड़ की तरफ से दी गई धमकियां सारी कॉल रिकॉर्डिंग अमित गुप्ता के पास है।

    अमित गुप्ता ने जान से मारने की मिल रही धमकियों की शिकायत एक पत्र लिखकर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी, राष्ट्रपति, गृह मंत्री अमित शाह, महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे, उपमुख्मंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, मुंबई पुलिस कमिश्नर, जॉइंट पुलिस कमिश्नर, एडिशनल कमिश्नर ऑफ पुलिस, डीसीपी से की है और एफआईआर दर्ज कराने की मांग कर रहे हैं, उम्मीद है कि जल्दी उनकी एफआईआर दर्ज कर ली जाएगी।

    अमित गुप्ता के वकील सुनील शुक्ला (एपेक्स ज्यूरिस एलएलपी के मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर) ने बताया कि अमित गुप्ता के विवाद से संबंधित मेरा यह कहना है कि टी सीरीज ने अमित गुप्ता से सेटलमेंट के लेटर पर साइन करवाकर इस बात को माना है कि यह कहानी अमित गुप्ता द्वारा लिखी गई है। उसी कहानी पर फ़िल्म बनाकर उसे रिलीज़ करके अमित गुप्ता के साथ अन्याय किया गया है। न तो उन्हें मेहनताना दिया गया न फ़िल्म में क्रेडिट मिला।

    अमित गुप्ता के कानूनी कार्रवाई शुरू करते ही उनको धमकियों के फोन आने लगे। हो सकता है ये धमकियां अमित गुप्ता को इसलिए दी जा रही हैं ताकी अमित गुप्ता कोर्ट ना जाए और अपना केस वापस ले लें। या फिर इसके पीछे कोई और मकसद है ये तो पुलिस की जांच के बाद ही पता चलेगा।

    Noida: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in association with the Hopebelt and WHT Now Foundations, recently conducted a powerful and impactful panel discussion on “Anti-Cyber Bullying and Harassment” at the Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT) campus. The event aimed to raise awareness and equip students with tools to tackle cyberbullying and online harassment, growing issues that significantly affect the youth.

    Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, initiated the discussion with a thought-provoking statement on the dual nature of technological advances. “Every discovery and invention have two sides of the coin. While these advancements have brought incredible convenience to our lives, they also come with certain side effects. The internet and social media are no exception, creating both opportunities and vulnerabilities,” he said.

    मीरा भाईंदर में पानी की समस्या आम है यहाँ पुरानी बिल्डिंग से पानी सप्लाई बंद कर नई बिल्डिंग में भेजा जा रहा है जिससे पुराने रहिवासियों से साथ अन्याय हो रहा है। अतः पानी की समस्या का जल्द निराकरण करने के लिए सरकार को ध्यान देने के लिए बाध्य करना जरूरी है। जिसकी शुरुआत हंसु कुमार पांडेय ने कर दी है।

    निर्माता रत्नाकर कुमार की बहुचर्चित भोजपुरी फिल्म ‘लॉटरी’ का शानदार, जानदार और धमाकेदार ट्रेलर वर्ल्डवाइड रिकार्ड्स भोजपुरी के ऑफिसियल यूट्यूब चैनल पर रिलीज कर दिया गया है। 3 मिनिट 8 सेकेंड के इस ट्रेलर में निर्देशक धीरू यादव ने फिल्म की पूरी कहानी को एक माला में जैसे मोतियों को पिरोया जाता है वैसे ही फिल्म के एक एक कलाकार कर चित्रण करके दिखा दिया है कि ये फिल्म दर्शक को एक्शन और इमोशन का तगड़ा झटका देने वाली है। फिल्म का मुख्य किरदार अभिनेत्री माही श्रीवास्तव निभा रही है। जो ट्रेलर में एक तरफ तो गांव की भोली भाली लड़की (दामिनी चौधरी) के रूप में दिखाई गई है। जो अपने ही परिवार में डरी और सहमी सी रहती है और एक समय खुद की जीवन लीला समाप्त करने के लिए फांसी लगाती हुई नजर आती है, वहीं जब उसकी 50 करोड़ की लॉटरी लग जाती है तो वो दुबई में एक आलीशान लाइफ जीती हुई दिखाई देती है। लेकिन ट्रेलर की शुरुआत में ही निर्देशक ने माही को एक सीरियल किलर के रूप दिखा कर फिल्म को एक जबरदस्त ट्विस्ट दे दिया है। जिसमें बताया गया है कि माही श्रीवास्तव ने 22 लोगों का कत्ल किया है। फिल्म के ट्रेलर को बहुत भव्य बनाया गया है जिसमें उत्तर प्रदेश के वाराणसी शहर से लेकर दुबई तक देखने को मिल रहा है।

    Former President Ram Nath Kovind Graces Historic Convocation at Asian Education Group

    Noida: In a momentous occasion that will be etched in the annals of educational excellence, the Asian Education Group (AEG) hosted a grand successful convocation ceremony at its Noida campus, marking a historic day for the reputed institution.     Kunwarpur – This Film Is The Beginning Of Regional Cinema Of Madhya Pradesh Indore

    Comedy film ‘Kunwarpur’ has been made under the banner of Avinash Films and Maxon Battery to bring the talent of local artists.

     This is the first theatrical release film of the film’s director Rajendra Rathore, which is coming to the cinema on 9 August. The main actors of the film are Asrani, Vikram Kochhar, Avinash Tiwari, Annapurna Dwivedi, Garima Agarwal, Urmila Sharma along with local artists have also performed brilliantly.

    The producer of the film is Laxman Barfa, Director Rajendra Rathore, a resident of Sailana in Ratlam, is working in Mumbai. He has so far made 50 ad films and 10 music videos along with short films and web series. Many actors like Sonu Sood, Hema Malini, Urvashi Rautela, Bhagyashree, Gauhar Khan have worked under his direction.

    Director Rajendra Rathore said that – Till now there is no regional cinema of Madhya Pradesh and Malwa and Nimar have been presented through this film.

    This film is the beginning of regional cinema of Madhya Pradesh. Through this film, we want to give recognition to local artists so that they also get a chance to work on the big screen. There is no dearth of talent among the youth in Madhya Pradesh, but not everyone can go to Mumbai and fulfill their dream, so a film city should be built in this region so that they do not have to go out.

    The film’s actress Annapurna Dwivedi said that – The film has been shot in Umaria and Khamaria villages near Satna in Madhya Pradesh. Regional dialect will also be heard in its language. It will be released in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. The film’s actor Avinash Tiwari is a superstar of Baghelkhand, it is a family and comedy film in which a message has been given against the dowry system.

    The film’s actor Avinash Tiwari told that the story of Kunwarpur is of a village where no one has been married for the last 10 years because the village is cursed. Our hero Pappu’s marriage is fixed by mistake and the whole village has to go to the wedding procession. This has been woven into the story through humor. On the other hand, the heroine of the film is Manglik. She is married to Pappu by mistake. Both sides hide their reality from each other. This is the plot of the film.

    Business Leaders Across Industries React to Union Budget 2024

    The entire nation eagerly awaited the announcement of the Union Budget 2024, a pivotal document charting the course for India’s burgeoning economy under the Modi 3.0 regime. Contrary to expectations of a budget solely focused on growth and development, this comprehensive budget addressed both growth and welfare. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman outlined four focal areas: ‘Garib’ (Poor), ‘Mahilayen’ (Women), ‘Yuva’ (Youth), and ‘Annadata’ (Farmer).

    To ensure the all-around development and upliftment of these pillars of the Indian economy, the government delineated nine budget priorities, serving as a roadmap towards a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India). This budget not only reinforced the government’s commitment to holistic development across all sectors but also underscored its dedication to a sustainable future.

    The announcement of the Union Budget 2024 sent ripples across financial markets and sparked a wave of enthusiasm. Numerous industry leaders across various sectors praised the strategic vision and anticipated impact of these announcements.

    Here’s what the industry leaders had to say:

    Providing an overview of the possible developments in the financial markets, Mr. Tarun Singh, Managing Director of Highbrow Securities said, “The Union Budget has impacted the buoyant stock market, but its effect feels more symbolic than substantial. The fundamental impact on investors will be negligible, as any changes in capital gains taxation will soon be factored into future plans. The market sentiment will remain conducive for investors. However, the budget’s opportunistic flavour cannot be ignored. On a brighter note, the budget’s incremental yet pivotal steps towards fostering an inclusive manufacturing and MSME landscape are commendable. The proposed initiative lays a sustainable and secure foundation for investors to explore emerging opportunities within this vital economic segment.

    One of the key standout aspects of this budget is its respect for the existing consumption patterns. In the market realm, consumption is king, and any disturbance to this trend could ripple negatively across the economic spectrum. By preserving the status quo here, the budget has safeguarded the ongoing consumption story that fuels market growth. The Stock Markets, thus, can absorb minor setbacks and continue on a bullish path, backed by stable and robust consumer demand.

    In my opinion, this budget is neither extravagant nor groundbreaking, but sometimes, not rocking the boat is an act of wisdom. This Union Budget may not sparkle with dramatic flair, but its understated elegance might very well be the unsung hero of our economic narrative this year. I am anticipating a favourable year ahead, with markets expected to benefit from sustained consumption and emerging opportunities in the revitalised MSME and Manufacturing sectors.”

    Devam Sardana, Business Head, Lemonn, addressed the impact of LTCG and STCG changes on the financial markets, but provided a different viewpoint on the same. He said, “Lot of people asking the impact of STT, STCG and LTCG on the equity market participants but instead of the impact of direct factors, I believe the removal of indexation benefits on real estate, gold etc will have a major impact on the equity markets and participants (and that too a positive one). From a real estate standpoint, I see 3 major things:

    1. Secondary market for real estate will be hit as sellers will be unwilling to absorb the full impact of the potential tax increase ( no indexation benefits)
    2. Buyers looking for investing in properties ( beyond residential use) will step back a bit. The government recognises this and has therefore “urged” states to reduce the stamp duties
    3. Potential cash transactions or share of cash in real estate might increase and this might lead to increased scrutiny of real estate transactions.
    4. Overall, this makes real estate as an asset class less attractive compared to pre-Budget rules. Of course, if one is looking to re-invest capital gains from real estate in another property, there is no change for them. With regards to the question on STT, STCG and LTCG, there is minimal impact on the equity markets but when looked at the competitors of equity as an asset class namely gold, real estate – investors can breathe a sigh of relief!”
    5. “We welcome the Budget 2024-25 as a people-friendly and pro-development budget. This year’s budget has paved the way for India by focusing on employment and skilling opportunities. We appreciate the various initiatives announced by the Honourable Finance Minister, focusing on the nine critical priorities—ranging from productivity and resilience in agriculture to next-generation reforms—demonstrating a comprehensive approach to fostering sustainable growth and development.
    6. For future leaders, these priorities offer a robust foundation to build upon and will create dynamic opportunities for innovation and leadership in these vital sectors. We believe that the budget, along with conducive policies and regulatory reforms, will facilitate research and development, and foster a culture of innovation, across sectors. With increased investment, the budget is poised to enhance employment opportunities and spur rising demand, especially for skilled leadership in these sectors” said Uday Chawla, Managing Partner, TRANSEARCH India.
    7. Prateek N Kumar, Founder and CEO, NeoNiche Integrated Solutions said, “The recent Budget represents a comprehensive strategy aimed at fostering growth across various sectors of society. By focusing on employment, skilling, MSMEs, the middle class, the underprivileged, women, youth, and farmers, it presents a holistic and inclusive approach. The nine priorities outlined for the coming years—productivity and resilience in agriculture, employment and skilling, manufacturing and services, urban development, energy security, infrastructure, innovation and R&D, and next-generation reforms—underscore a commitment to well-rounded development. This emphasis on job creation and boosting consumption is set to significantly benefit the consumer goods, real estate, and automotive sectors. It’s an encouraging roadmap for our nation’s future.”
    8. Interestingly, Mr. Ashish Singhal, Co-founder, CoinSwitch, had a different outlook of the 2024 Union Budget. “We welcome the Union Budget 2024-25 as a pro-development budget bringing great news for startups. As a founder and angel investor, I’m thrilled that the Angel Tax has been abolished. This will significantly bolster the entrepreneurial ecosystem in India. The emphasis on digital public infrastructure and the digitalization of the economy will greatly benefit tech startups like ours, which are focused on developing population-scale apps for Indians.
    9. Regarding crypto, we had hoped the government would reduce taxation to align it with other asset classes. Unfortunately, this has not been addressed, representing a missed opportunity to support startups and investors in the crypto space. We are still examining the finer details of the budget to fully understand its broader implications,” said Singhal.
    10. Roland Landers, CEO, All India Gaming Federation, welcomed the focus on skilling in the Budget 2024. He said, “There remains a significant skill gap in India’s gaming industry, and the increased emphasis on skilling initiatives is a promising step towards bridging this gap. Centrally sponsored schemes for skilling youth, women-focused programs, the establishment of industrial training institutions, and the provision of internships are all set to create a more skilled workforce.
