Dr. Konika Khuraijam has always been a woman who stands up for the underprivileged. A charter member of Lions club of Imphal Leimarol,she has been involving herself with social service from a very young age.Coming from an artistic background, she has delved into performing arts,theatre,dance and poetry writing.Her love for pageantry goes back to 1995, when she started mentoring young girls for beauty contests both inside and outside Manipur.She has established the House of Elegance, a platform to nourish young talents. Having won the title of Ms Talented,and Ms Beauty with  Brains at Ms Exclusive and Extraordinary  ,she was one of the Popular Queen of Universe 2019, organized by IAWA.

Professionally she is an associate professor at DM College of Teacher Education and the honorary administrator of Kids’ Foundation  Imphal.

Her philosophy on life is never to say ” impossible”.She believes that we humans are born to perform specific roles ,to make this world a better place.

She is happily married to W. Brajabidhu Singh,a well known business man of Manipur and blessed with two children Nishant and Jyotsna, who have both graduated from United Kingdoms.
